Our Founder

For more than 20 years, Savant Transcription Service has provided quality medical transcription in the Dallas metroplex area.

The owner, Hope Savant, who started the service over 20 years ago, continues to manage the business on a day-to-day basis servicing and advocating for the medical transcription industry nationwide.

We have a small committed group of trained, experienced, medical transcriptionists (some CMTs) who take pride in their work and strive to efficiently and effectively meet our clients’ dictation needs. We recognize the critical importance of accuracy in transcribing the doctors’ reports and understand the need for prompt delivery of these reports. We offer competitive service with quick turn-around, accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and a cost-effective solution to the ever-growing transcription needs of healthcare providers

Hope Savant went to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to advocate for the medical transcription industry to continue to be an integral component of the new electronic health records being promoted by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009/HITECH Act for Healthcare.
